A venue is the place where training happens: a hall, a field or an outdoor area. Every venue belongs to one club.
A venue has an address, opening hours and booking rules. The admin of the club that owns it sets them.

Basics and roles
What a venue, a training space, opening hours, a rental and a class are. Who in the club is responsible for what.
A venue is divided into training spaces. For example, these can be two rings in one hall. A new venue gets one space straight away.
Every class and every rental takes one or more spaces. Two bookings at the same hour do not get in each other's way if they use different spaces. They clash only when they share at least one space. To take the whole venue, select all of its spaces.
Opening hours set on which days and at what times people can book. Each set of opening hours covers selected training spaces. They can be open to everyone with access to the venue or only to selected people.
Everyone books only within these hours, members of the owning club included. The exception is the admins and trainers of the club that owns the venue.
An own event is a private booking of a space for your own training. It has no participants and no sign-ups. The owning club's admins see it in the venue calendar.
You can pay for a rental in the app if the club has set a price list for the venue. Without a price list the app takes no payment. That does not mean the rental is free. The club may settle with the renter outside the app, for example on site or by bank transfer.
A class is a club event that participants sign their dogs up for. It has a date, a trainer and a limit of places. Each dog signed up takes one place.
A class always belongs to a club. That club's admins and trainers create it. It takes place at the club's own venue or at a venue shared by another club.
Access is permission to book at a venue. The club admin grants it to specific people, one by one.
Club membership alone does not let anyone book. A member who should rent the hall on their own needs access too.
The venue owner does not create events just so that someone can book the hall. Opening hours and granted access are enough. People with access pick a free slot and create the booking themselves.
You create a class only when you run it yourself and collect sign-ups.
Who does what
Club admin
Adds venues and sets their opening hours. Grants and removes access. Sets the booking and cancellation rules. Creates classes and can delete any booking at the club's venue.
Club trainer
Creates classes in their club and edits the ones they run. Can add training spaces and manage the rental price list. The admin sets opening hours and access.
Person with access
Books free slots within the opening hours they are allowed. Pays in the app if the venue has a price list. Otherwise settles with the club the way the club has arranged. A trainer from another club can also run their own club's classes here.
Participant
Signs dogs up for classes. Pays in the app if the club has turned on online payments. Otherwise pays the club the way the club has arranged, for example on site. Cancels on the terms set by the club. Does not need access to the venue.
